To begin your ritual, remove the cap from the mercury vessel and carefully insert the cotton cord attached to the solar flower into the oil. Place the flower on top of the bottle. It may take 24–48 hours for the flower to fully "bloom" with scent. To protect your surfaces, always place the diffuser on a coaster or decorative tray, as the oil-saturated petals should not come into contact with fabrics or finished wood.
